About Me

Hello, I'm Raffaele Pojer, a PhD student at Aalborg University, under the supervision of Manfred Jaeger and Kim Guldstrand Larsen.

Welcome to my personal homepage!

Research Interests

I'm very enthusiastic about machine learning, and during my PhD I've become especially interested in graph learning and statistical relational learning, now often considered part of neuro-symbolic AI.

Education

PhD in Computer Science, Aalborg University, Denmark [2023, Now]

Master's in Artificial Intelligence Systems, University of Trento, Italy [2020, 2023]

Bachelor's in Computer Science, University of Trento, Italy [2017, 2020]

Projects

My current research focuses on integrating Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) with a symbolic framework from Statistical Relational Learning (SRL) called Relational Bayesian Networks (RBNs).

The primary software for RBNs is Primula, developed by Manfred Jaeger. I am extending Primula to support GNNs as a new class of probabilistic models.

For more details, see the project on GitHub (Primula-3).
